Responsible for account management, revenue development and planning, forecasts and maintaining high level relationships with top accounts. Implement and direct the field sales plan within the assigned sales region/division so as to achieve stated sales objectives. Act as the interface between the sales force and laboratory operations leadership.

The A-RMBD will be responsible for driving organic volume (accessions) and revenue growth for the South East Division of LabCorp. We are seeking an organized, process driven, and action oriented manager to lead the team build and divisional launch of a successful inside sales organization.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Develop divisional goals and objectives that are time bound and measurable

  • Implement regional market messaging strategies that target accounts for growth

  • Establish target number of calls per day, per rep, and establish expected key metrics and quotas that will achieve our goals

  • Manage, train, and develop a team of 8 inside sales professionals

  • Listen and coach the Internal Account Specialists while they are making dials

  • Support the team where needed to remove internal barriers and develop improved "work flows"

  • Analyze existing Internal Accounts at a division level and develop recommendations to retain existing business while increasing new accession volumes and revenue

  • Help the team increase productivity through pre-call planning and post-call analysis with the appropriate customer follow-up

  • Coach the team on how to analyze/understand utilization and profitability of existing accounts

  • Conduct regular IAS business reviews to develop and execute on rep level action plans to increase accession volumes and territory revenues

  • Lead the internal collaboration to educate and launch new telemarketing campaigns to customers on LabCorp's services

  • Ability to learn physician office level electronic connectivity products, solutions, and customer needs (i.e. interfaces, EMR's, LabCorp Link, etc.)

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft excel, and outlook to "coach up" the team

  • Daily Microsoft CRM and internal systems usage


License/Certification/Education: Normally a B.A./B.S. Degree w/3-5 years of experience in medical sales. Normally requires a Valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record.

  • Inside sales experience preferred

  • Willing to work extended hours on projects to meet deadlines

  • Project management with weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables

  • Demonstrated solid communication skills, both oral and written

  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook
