POSITION OVERVIEW

The Recruiter reports directly to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and provides day-to-day support in providing talent pipelines to the organization, executes on the diversity recruiting strategy, working in a highly collaborative full cycle recruiting function: sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, selection, offer process, and prescreening/onboarding of candidates. The Recruiter helps ensure consistent application of recruiting processes and is often a primary point of contact for internal client groups, internal and external candidates, non-employee candidates, HR business partners, and other functional areas of HR, as well as external search firms/service providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Works with the Talent Acquisition team, HR, and Business Leaders to prioritize and implement projects and programs in support of talent acquisition initiatives and process improvements.

  • Utilize project management skills to define, drive and meet project milestones. Develop project plans and schedules. Leads kick-off, requirements and spec reviews, and other program planning and implementation meetings. Proactively communicates issues, risks, and proposed solutions in a timely manner.

  • Partners with managers, teams, and others to identify and implement recruiting strategies to meet hiring goals to support the business needs.

  • Provides technical, non-technical, exempt, nonexempt and administrative recruiting support and counsel, including sourcing, interviewing candidates, selection process, and extending employment offers.

  • Participates in recruitment and employment processes to include diversity outreach programs, campus recruiting and the new employee orientation process, as needed.

  • Coordinates recruiting events, provides status reports, tracks costs, and creates metrics.

  • Provides the interpretation and administration of human resources policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with applicable state/federal statutes and regulations.

  • Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of talent acquisition related training programs.

  • Establishes and maintains candidate data using company's applicant tracking system (ATS) and other system applications as needed.

  • Maintains and enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending meetings, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, and participating in networking opportunities, as needed.

  • Measures the effectiveness of talent acquisition results by analyzing metrics and market trends to make recommendations to the overall talent acquisition strategy.

  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as assigned or needed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration and policy is required to minimize legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance, including a strong understanding of the employment process. General knowledge of maintenance, record, and reporting requirements; document management methodologies and procedures and automated HRIS system applications is required.

Skills:

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; resourceful and innovative. Verifiable success applying innovative recruiting techniques.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work as a team is extremely important. Must be assertive and have the ability to resolve conflict and have crucial conversations with management and team members when needed to ensure processes, guidelines, and regulations are followed consistently.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.

  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.

  • Accomplished public speaker, able to create and deliver industry-specific presentations.

  • Exhibits independent/critical thinking and ability to identify and implement creative solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and measure program metrics.

  • Demonstrated stakeholder and project management experience with the ability to execute plans, identify resource needs, manage milestones and dependencies, effectively resolve problems, and drive for results.

  • Portrays administrative and documentation skills, detail-orientation, and proficiency with reporting tools and databases.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and be an excellent representative of the Company externally and internally.

  • Process-oriented with the ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks, allocate and optimize resources, and manage timelines; ability to take things from start to finish.

  • Possesses exemplary written and verbal communication and presentation skills, along with a strong customer-focused mentality, and highly developed ability to build relationships and strategic alliances with management to implement change solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education, Training and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Experience:

Associate Recruiter: 1-2 years related experience in a Talent Acquisition role.

Recruiter: Must have a minimum of two (2) years related experience in a Talent Acquisition role or the equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience.

Ability to multi-task and function in a highly dynamic atmosphere; must exercise some discretion independently.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.

  • Business requirements may frequently necessitate that work be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.

  • Business requirements may include periodic travel, including to operating facilities or facilities under construction.

  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
