Associate Recruiter

Capital One is hiring an Associate Recruiter to join our US Card Talent Acquisition team to support full life cycle recruiting!

Responsibilities in this Recruiting role include:

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process. This will include creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One's talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers.

  • Source stellar candidates. Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market.

  • Provide a great end-to-end recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers

  • Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent

  • Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (i.e., talent marketing, LinkedIn sourcing, referrals, etc.)

  • Create and extend job offers and close identified candidates

  • Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners

  • Scheduling interviews, facilitating consensus meetings to discuss interview results, and presenting offers to successful candidates that lead to hires for the team

  • Partnering with cross-functional business teams, HR partners, and other Recruiting teams to minimize risk and execute flawlessly on the recruiting and hiring process

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 1 year of HR or Recruiting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 2 years of experience in HR or Recruiting
  • 2 years of experience as a full life-cycle recruiter
  • 2 years of experience in client management

The Healthcare Recruiter participates in a full range of high-volume recruitment activities around the selection of nursing and/or allied health candidates for the Capital Division. The Recruiter will work in both an at-home and in-office environment. The Recruiter will be responsible for some or all of the following under direction of the Recruiting Manager or Senior Recruiter: * Collects and processes requisitions to fill new or vacant positions. * Conducts strategy meetings with hiring managers to identify expectations, clarify processes and provide regular updates. Creates a communication plan that promotes a partnership for acquiring the necessary talent. * Posts jobs through internal and external media, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques to identify qualified passive and active candidates. Maintains current knowledge of emerging technology to stay abreast of innovative sourcing trends and best recruitment practices. * Identifies internal and external candidates for vacant positions, including assessing job postings and employee referrals, screening resumes and conducting interviews by phone, in person or via electronic media (e.g., WebEx, Go to Meeting, etc.) * Collects, processes, and maintains applicant data including, but not limited to, interviewer recommendations and assessment results. * Conducts strategic recruitment activities including attending job fairs, conferences, on-campus and other special events. Maintains memberships in / rapport with professional associations. * Maintains updated candidate status / disposition in applicant tracking system to ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal and state employment laws. * Advise managers on the extension of job offers and facilitate/participate in selection decision-making meetings. * Advises hiring managers and facilitates/participates in selection decision-making meetings. * Develops and recommends job offer details to hiring managers, including experience ratings and research on internal equity. * Delivers and negotiates job offers or rejections to candidates. EDUCATION * Undergraduate degree preferred EXPERIENCE * 3 years of similar experience * High-volume or agency experience preferred HCA Richmond VA
