What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

This position requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous Building Automation projects of various complexities. The Associate Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.

  • Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.

  • Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.

  • Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide all necessary project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.

  • Track resources and project progress.

  • Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.

  • Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.

  • Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.

  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.

  • Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.

  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate degree; Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Project management experience in the HVAC controls industry; 3+ years preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of HVAC industry applications; ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams

  • Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet

  • Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States

  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Those with electrical/mechanical systems knowledge with a desire to learn about compressed air systems are encouraged to apply. Known as the fourth utility, compressed air powers many critical manufacturing operations and processes. It is vital to the productivity of many industries and greatly contributes to the overall economy. As a Field Service Technician you will develop expertise in the maintenance and repair of compressed air systems. You will serve customers by installing, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic trouble shooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment. Main focus will be centrifugal compressors. * Provides technical assistance on equipment start-ups, installations and repairs of compressed air systems including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirements. * Serves as technical support for customers and Customer Service Managers. * Documents service and installation activities by completing work orders for each job, maintenance checklist and daily time sheets. * Increases Ingersoll Rand customer's awareness of how Ingersoll Rand products, services and solutions; such as Package Care, Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostics, Audits and Leak Detection can benefit their operations. * Maintains rapport with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques and recommending system improvements. * Ensures proper operation of compressed air equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and 47 point inspections on a wide variety of compressors, refrigerated dryers, desiccant dryers and additional compressed air components. * Works with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs. * Conduct safety assessments of a continuously changing working environment. * Daily travel to customer sites, occasional overtime, and sporadic on-call emergency service is required to meet customers' needs. * Serves as technical support for customers and Customer Service Managers. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of trouble shooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems. * Able to read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment. * Candidates must have their own set of standard tools. * Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers. * Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad). * Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in previous 5 years. * Refrigeration experience/certification a plus This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage). This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
