Key Purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team as an Associate Project Manager. The PMO provides governance and process to ensure productivity, alignment and agility across our business. Our project portfolio is diverse in subject matter area and requires fluidity in influencing without authority, as well as the flexibility to work across multiple departments, programs and levels of leadership.
The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for tracking and coordinating activity completion for the entirety of the lifecycle of assigned projects. They will ensure that the appropriate tools are used and consistent processes upheld throughout the phases of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Ensuring alignment with company strategy and project goals is critical.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence
Report to the Head of the Account PMO and support business optimization on the Account
Collaborate and communicate effectively with Account Leadership and other key stakeholders within the Business Unit and across the company
Build respectful relationships with the Account Leadership Team, the client and other teammates
Ideal Candidate Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field
A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
A minimum of five years' experience in the industry
Proven leadership skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Careful attention to details and technicalities
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
Expert in use of Project Management software, especially Microsoft Project, Asana, and Smartsheet
Knowledge of cost estimating and budget management
Skilled in computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
Key Accountabilities
Lead medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end using established processes and tools
Lead project scoping, initiation, budgeting, scheduling, execution, monitoring and close out
Ensure all activities remain on schedule and within budget; escalating and resolving issues appropriately as needed
Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects
Track and document critical project components and milestones
Oversee project progress and ensure that team members are carrying out tasks efficiently, while upholding the company's standards
Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting quality standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
Analyze and understand capabilities of projects and programs, drivers of success, and the solutions needed to successfully deliver to client and ISS expectations
Manage internal and external relationships in support of assigned projects and programs Collaborate with a mixed team of internal support staff and external vendors
Maintain a high aptitude for communication, both verbal and written
Operate with a consultative nature to the client and internal teams
Understand ISS is a service organization and in all ways operates with that mindset - in service to the client
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time
Travel requirements: 5-10%
Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

ISS offers full time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $95,000 - $100,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills, and may vary from the range listed above.
