Associate Project Manager, Imaging

Location - North Wales, PA or Raleigh-Durham, NC

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. The Associate Project manager will provide assistance to the Technical Project Manager / Project Manager and project team and work to ensure quality, efficiency and improved profitability.

Overview of the Role

  • Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.

  • Assist in the development of project related documentation, coordinating project tasks and communicating/ progress to team members for assigned projects.

  • Function as Technical Project Manager / Project Manager in their absence for assigned projects.

  • Perform quality review on assigned projects.

  • Provide critical input to Project Management for proactive resolutions and improvements.

  • Provide support to Manager, Technical Project Manager / Director, Clinical Operations as appropriate.

  • Liaise with internal and external clients on project development related matters.

  • Maintain confidentiality of project information as appropriate.

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as required

  • Lead, motivate and mentor support staff

  • Mentor and train junior staff

Role Requirements / Skills / Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in medicine or science or local equivalent or Certified in Imaging Sciences or local equivalent degree / experience

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience

  • Background in medicine, science, software or other relevant discipline

  • Ability to work within a team environment

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines

  • Ability to liaise professionally with clients and system users.

  • Ability to support a diverse team of individuals

  • Problem solving skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Business Computer skills

VIEW JOBS 10/18/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-16T00:00 Summary of Objective: Assists with designated customer projects to ensure that objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget while adhering to applicable pharmaceutical regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. 1. Create and maintain the customer specific production schedule for both long-term forecast and short-term production demands; follow up on the workflow through each step to maintain schedule integrity and communication. Communicate any OTD risks. 2. Maintain and update forecast tool, as well as monthly updates of actuals; ensure accurate forecasts are in place for monthly MRP runs. 3. Understand purchasing authorization from the supply agreement; place purchase order requisitions with procurement and work with them to expedite, delay or cancel if necessary; ensure on-time delivery and communicate any issues with on-time delivery. 4. Maintain an understanding of the jacket creation process which includes, but is not limited to the following: LE form creation, material receipt/release, batch record preparation and JDE work order creation. 5. Track OTD and jacket issuance metrics for the appropriate business units 6. Manage and monitor purchase order status' within the PCI-Rockford organization to ensure on-time delivery metrics are met 7. Work with the customer to ensure correct components and artwork changes; verify pricing to quote and re-price if necessary; communicate price variances with management. 8. Review and approve documentation including specifications and batch records, as required. 9. Responsible for sales order entry, BOM creation, item number creation and overall data entry accuracy and management. 10. Track releases of finished goods. Assist in the preparation of shipment documents. 11. Assist with NMR's and Component Variance Notifications. 12. Order and ensure shipper labels and print mats are ready for maintenance and production requirements 13. Ensure obsolete materials are billed for and managed after a component revision or the end of a project. Responsible for ensuring the destruction of obsolete materials & expired materials as well as providing the COFD to the customer (as required). 14. Facilitate IQA to ensure timely release of components and bulk. 15. Allocate and mange lot specific materials to the Work Order. 16. Maintain optimal component inventory level for customer owned inventory. 17. Provide continuous support to Project Manager and team for day to day internal problem solving and trouble shooting. 18. Training and onboarding for new employees within same role, as requested. 19. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. 20. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. 21. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position. 22. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. Required: * Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training. * College Level Mathematical Skills * Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs. * Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs. * Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables. Preferred: * Able to set and achieve challenging goals. * Ability to adapt to a changing work environment. * Ability to display excellent time management skills. * Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
