Description & Requirements

The Associate Project Manager- Employee Engagement will be responsible for action planning, facilitating programs and coordinating events/trainings and enhance the overall company engagement and development, retention, and outlook for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage aspects of new hire orientation, facilitators roster, create and send invites weekly, troubleshoot attendance with recruiters. Recruit and train facilitators, as needed.

  • Review, update, and maintain latest version of new hire orientation and other onboarding resources (on centralized portal).

  • Support employee onboarding and new hire orientation with focus on creating a meaningful and impactful employee experience. Provide support and direction to the onboarding team

  • Work with Stakeholders to develop new resources and updates to existing onboarding resources.

  • Manage the communication of all updates. Post updated NHO/onboarding resources to centralized portal.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end process for the Global Employee Engagement Survey (GEES).

  • Analyze the GEES results and provide post-survey action planning resources. Research and provide new engagement ideas/best practices for action plans.

  • Facilitate all action plan follow-up sessions, including coordinating with the team and people managers to develop any action plans.

  • Attend vendor demos, help compile leadership presentations and test-out different platforms & provide feedback.

  • Draft communications for programs and/or tools rollout, test & troubleshoot the selected program or tool rollout and help prepare program or tool presentations to train employees.

  • Coordinate and manage selected program/tool mailbox & respond to incoming questions and assist to create engagement guidance/materials to publicize with employees.

  • Support the on-site employee engagement efforts at the company headquarters in McLean, VA - through regular engagement activities (e.g., lunch-and-learns, seasonal celebrations, cross-functional networking).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

  • 3-5 years of experience required.

  • 2-3 years of Project Management experience required.

  • May have additional training or education in area of specialization.

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools required.

  • Basic knowledge of Workday application preferred

  • Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope.

  • Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Comfort working in a highly collaborative culture and indirectly managing cross functional teams to achieve outcomes.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, critical thinking and organizational skills.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
