A POLITICO Associate Programs and Partnership Manager is responsible for day-to-day program management of client accounts across POLITICO's strategic and cross-platform solutions. You are responsible for managing the execution of each client campaign and partnership, working with the Programs and Partnerships Director and internal teams across POLITICO to ensure a seamless client experience and successful end product that meets POLITICO's and the client's needs and expectations.
Project manage the holistic execution of strategic and cross-platform client programs and coordinate with teams across POLITICO including brand content, events, marketing, technology, AdOps and editorial functions supporting the Programs and Partnership Director to bring all teams to success, ensuring each program meets the client's and POLITICO's needs and expectations
Serve as a point of contact with client and agency leads and handle day-to-day client communication throughout each campaign, working closely with the Programs and Partnerships Director
Serve as a main point of contact for internal POLITICO teams contributing to the program
Manage and monitor holistic program budgets for each client campaign and timelines throughout the program, working closely with internal teams to ensure programs are delivered on time and on scope
Schedule internal and client project meetings and calls, preparing agendas, partaking in the meetings and calls as needed/appropriate, taking detailed notes of each meeting and call and following up with clear, actionable next steps to all stakeholders involved
Provide clear and consistent direction and establish expectations for internal and external stakeholders
Actively participate in conversations, brainstorms and meetings with advertising, editorial and live and digital content creation and production teams, commanding a firm grasp of what those teams are creating with the program, the vision of the end product and how that ladders back to the overall client strategy
Participate in content brainstorms and provide feedback on promotional, marketing, brand content and event-related content from editors and producers on PACE and across the company, as needed, ensuring alignment with client goals and program KPIs.
Work with AdOps to monitor traffic, engagement and promotion metrics on a per-campaign basis, working with teams to identify optimization recommendations and send progress and final campaign reports to clients
Work to understand the capabilities of POLITICO's brand, editorial and advertising products and platforms and how each team can contribute to client success and retention
Provide thoughtful feedback and recommendations on ways to improve processes, campaign optimization and the overall client experience
Support Director in organizing and fielding in-bound new business requests and response to RFPs across POLITICO's platforms, as needed.

Develop a deep process- and detail-oriented grip on how POLITICO translates both the tactical and conceptual elements of client programs.
Work to develop a firm grasp of how POLITICO works with clients to create live and digital content and advertising experiences, as well as any other work provided by POLITICO, with the goal of learning how to develop client and program strategies. And more specifically, be the subject matter expert in all of your assigned projects, having a firm and up-to-date grasp to be able to quickly distill and answer questions on client goals, what brand message they are trying to communicate through their program with POLITICO, client KPIs, timeline milestones and other program related items.
Work to assess complex situations, distill the correct path forward based on balancing priorities and share with the Programs and Partnership Director.

Effectively manage your timelines across the company and with the client, working to understand how resourcing plans may be impacted by other client programs being managed by the team.

Work to understand how systems are used by POLITICO to deliver content experiences to readers, such as advertising systems for program promotion and analytics systems.
