Job Summary:
The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for a fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) at the faculty rank of Associate Professor or above and has served as a vice chair for a part-time position. The position is a 0.7 FTE, with 0.1 of the FTE dedicated to the role of Medical Director for University Women's Care.
Job Responsibilities:
Successful candidates must demonstrate competency obtaining patient histories, physical examination, and the assessment and development of appropriate plans of medical and surgical care in the Ob-Gyn clinical setting. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing, with primary care providers, specialists, and team members to meet the comprehensive needs of patients.
Clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical patient care
Training residents to perform minimally invasive surgical procedures
Treating and managing chronic pelvic pain
Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Teaching medical students and residents
Simulation training
Research
Work Location:
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in the greater Aurora area, Colorado.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below:
Required Qualifications: Associate Professor
Seven (7) years of clinical OBGYN experience
Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
2-3 years of leadership experience in clinical operations
Completion of an AAGL Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS)
Meets criteria for Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
Preferred Qualifications: Associate Professor
Three (3) years of minimally-invasive surgical OBGYN experience
Experience as a clinical educator
Required Qualifications: Professor
Ten (10) years of clinical OBGYN experience
Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
3-5 years of leadership experience in clinical operations
Completion of an AAGL Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS)
Meets criteria for Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
Preferred Qualifications: Professor
Five (5) years of minimally-invasive surgical OBGYN experience
Experience as a clinical educator

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Associate Professor: $178,290-$198,100
Assistant Professor: $205,380-$228,200
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
