About this opportunity

The Associate Professional Relations Manager, will work to enhance Align's leadership position in the dental and oral health industry by creating and developing robust engagement with subject matter experts, key experts, and other third-party partnerships.

In this role, you will…

Identify, recruit, develop, and manage personal and administrative relationships with subject matter expert general dentists, orthodontists, related specialists, and dental team members

  • Focused on iTero, Labs, and Other Internal Partners

  • Develop and coach speakers and faculty

  • Provide Analytics and reporting for iTero and restorative, speakers, faculty, courses

  • Audit Retail and Study Club Courses and provide feedback to Director and Senior Director

  • Collaborate with other members of the Professional Relations Team, Clinical Education, and Professional Marketing Team to create new enterprise educational offerings that align with within the overall strategic/targeted educational framework

  • Coordinate with University and Early Career Education to support educational initiatives in those spaces

  • Coordinate advisory board meetings under the direction of the consumer and professional marketing channel leads

  • Partner with global education management leads to ensure collaboration with Key Experts that are important to both the regional and global strategy

  • Develop objective criteria to define Align speakers, Faculty members, and Key Experts, including onboarding and offboarding criteria

  • Develop effective relationships with Key Experts to help gain insights that support marketing, product development, and sales strategies

  • Support planning for conferences, Advisory Board Meetings, Summits and education meetings by developing plans that include clear measurable outcomes for behaviors and actions following the meetings or conference

  • Develop relationships with third-parties that support overall business and educational strategic objectives

  • Collaborate to negotiate contracts with third-parties to safeguard Align's interest as well as create a strong partnerships

  • Work with Sales, Production, and Marketing to implement Program Initiatives, including strategy, execution, production/approval of content, and metrics to determine success

In this role, you'll need …

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred

  • Advanced degree preferred with a minimum of 4-6 years in the medical devices, technology, dental or pharmaceutical industry, including two to three in Professional Relations, Opinion Leader or advocacy relations, marketing, sales or medical preferred

  • 2-4 yrs. in Dental industry a plus, with demonstrated ability to understand orthodontics

  • Strong relationship skills, with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with Key Experts, Innovators, and Knowledge Leaders

  • Ability to work cross functionally with individuals at all levels in an organization and understand their needs/motivations

  • A strong preference to work as a member of a team

  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills

  • Marketing & sales experience a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to learn new software systems independently
