Associate Production Maintenance Technician
PURPOSE
Are you ready to kick-start your career as a Maintenance Technician in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment? This position is an entry level Technician position. Join our team and take on the challenge of operating and maintaining advanced production equipment, including robots, complex PLC systems, and highly automated machinery. Your work will directly impact the production of life-saving medical devices that reach patients around the globe. We offer on the job training to start you on your journey with Bayer!
Our Indianola location operates on a 3 eight hour shift schedule. First Shift: 6am-2:20pm, 2nd Shift: 2pm
10:20pm, 3rd Shift: 10pm
6:20am, Monday through Friday.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize your technical expertise to operate and maintain complex automated production systems, ensuring optimal performance, output, and safety.
Play a vital role in meeting customer demand and maintaining product quality standards.
Provide input to Production, Engineering and Maintenance team members, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma;
The ability to work as part of a team;
Effective communication skills both orally and written;
The ability to handle ambiguous situations independently;
High standard for quality of work and attention to detail;
The ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision;
The ability to effectively cope with change.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience;
Associates Degree;
Experience with mechanical, electrical, automation, and chilled water system;
Experience working in FDA and ISO regulated industries;
Experience working within a controlled cleanroom manufacturing environment;
Familiarity with SAP and preventative maintenance programs and systems;
Experience with providing or delivering technical training;
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
