We're looking for an Associate Product Marketing Manager to help us create, cultivate, and deliver those stories. Reporting to the Associate Director of Product Marketing, you'll be responsible for the following:
Develop and employ the right combination of art and science in brand marketing and digital marketing strategies. You'll be part of a team that develops positioning and branding as well as strategic marketing programs and ongoing campaign management.
Manage relationships across the marketing team; you'll help orchestrate the way our creative, community, PR, app store optimization, CRM and user acquisition teams work together to deploy great integrated marketing programs.
Manage content and asset creation with internal teams and external agencies.
Act as project manager on all marketing tactics for products assigned.
Work collaboratively with the product management team to successfully implement all elements of our marketing programs, which means delivering a great story to players while ensuring our business looks healthy.
Use data to understand and demonstrate where we're succeeding, where our opportunities are, and where we need to proactively adjust to avoid missteps before we make them.
Initial focus on Korean studio developed titles such as Darkness Rises, AxE, Durango, and Marvel Battle Lines.
2+ years of experience in online consumer marketing or advertising background with a strong track record of success and results. Mobile focus strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field or equivalent experience.
Strong desire to learn the process of developing integrated campaigns for free-to-play games or other mobile products.
An understanding of how brand marketing and performance marketing can work best in concert with one another, and be able to execute strategies that make the best use of both throughout a live service life-cycle.
Stellar written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write briefs, produce copywriting for advertising campaigns and effectively communicate verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to partner effectively with development teams to ensure all marketing activities are reflective of the amazing quality of their work and execute ongoing activities around player acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Genuine love and passion for games culture and the people who are part of it: developers, players, critics, forum trolls, reviewers, and everyone in between. We love this stuff, and we love everyone who's a part of ityou should, too.
Ideally, would have some experience in performance marketing (ie user acquisition or direct response marketing).
Bonus points for a strong affinity for, or understanding of, Korean and/or Asian gamer culture.
