The product marketing team at Asana helps the company succeed by connecting our customer's pain to the Asana solution. We develop clear and compelling messaging that inspires our customers to learn about, try, and adopt our product. We use product launches, campaigns, and experimentation to communicate the Asana narrative, reach new audiences, and drive growth across the funnel. As close partners with the product and sales teams, product marketers at Asana collaborate to bring new features to market and connect customers to the value of our product.

We are looking for a product marketer to help us scale our efforts across the team. You'll take on core product marketing work like managing the launch calendar, sharing product updates internally, and bringing new features to market.


  • Partner directly with product teams and other product marketers to determine target audience, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for new feature launches.

  • Manage overall product launch calendar and ensure company-wide alignment on product launch timing.

  • Coordinate in-product marketing channels to ensure cohesive user experience.

  • Create user education content to help customers understand the value of Asana and how to make the most of Asana with their team.

  • Contribute to market research and competitive analysis to help inform product strategy.

  • Amplify user engagement and adoption post product launch with targeted promotion and user education.


  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing, Product Management, Project Management or a related field

  • Exceptional organization and accountability

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent relationship building capabilities and cross-functional collaboration

Your Impact: * Partner closely with Product Management to understand the product strategy and develop top line customer narratives and compelling thought leadership content and customer stories. * Develop innovative marketing strategies to gain VP and C-level mindshare in IT organizations. * Work with Sales to inspire, motivate and ultimately win flagship brands through the sales cycle and generate the best customer stories in the business. * Produce high fidelity externally facing content including thought leadership content, customer stories, webinars, data sheets, solution guides, and more for all funnel stages by partnering with the industry's leading creative team. Create compelling and easy to understand internally facing content including sales training, competitive positioning, FAQs, and cheat sheets. * Work closely with cross-functional marketing teams to drive the business & product marketing strategy. Track, measure and report against objectives. * Drive an amazing launch cycle at our events, including our flagship Dreamforce, that drives conversation forward. * Work directly with major partners and customers, in a global context, to drive market share and awareness. * Drive the creation of thought leadership content in the market. * Connect with customers, sales teams, & partners to show them their future. * Work closely with corporate marketing to execute innovative online marketing campaigns, SEO, and web design. * Create sales tools that will assist the sales teams in all phases of the sales cycle. Required Skills/Experience: * 3-8 years of experience in product marketing at a high tech company, or similar.
