The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the product development team with a wide range of marketing activities. This position will also be the primary liaison between each product development group and sales personnel. The person needs to have strong self-starting qualities to independently manage coordination of multiple projects to ensure timely completion of product development and marketing tasks. The job requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast paced environment. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, communications, organization, flexibility and sound judgment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and manage project plan for each project in conjunction with the engineer

  • Lead coordination and documentation of project team activities including kick-off meetings, design review meetings, verification/validation activities, cadaver labs for multiple projects within group

  • Develop market plan for each product introduction

  • Perform and maintain market analysis by each product segment to identify new product offerings and line extensions to ensure Globus has the best product offering in industry

  • Forecasting and inventory management for all projects / products in group

  • Work closely with purchasing and operations departments to source products through the Globus supply chain

  • Develop technique guides, product literature, brochures, sales binders and all sales support information

  • Assist Group Manager and Project Engineer to creating sales, surgeon, and management presentations in PowerPoint

  • Ensure timely and high quality documentation of DHF's, DMR's, and DHR's for each project in group according to Globus quality policy and all FDA and other regulatory bodies

  • Work with Clinical R&D, and Sales & Marketing to identify clinical research topics for each product.

  • Plan, organize and execute courses and symposia for specific product introductions in conjunction with sales and clinical R&D

  • Obtain market feedback from spine surgeons and other customers to determine functional and design specifications for new product development

  • Assist in IDE site training as required

  • Assist with order taking and customer service activities

  • Assist with receiving, inspection, and testing of all vended product

  • Participate in management meetings on strategic initiatives and business planning

  • Special projects and duties as assigned

  • Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

  • Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years' experience in medical device or related field in Product Development and/or Marketing in a fast paced environment

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Emphasis on Business or Marketing preferred

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; specifically Word, Excel, Power Point and Project is required.

  • Well organized, detail oriented, and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment

  • Strong ability to create and confidently deliver effective presentations to multiple size audiences

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to travel up to 15-20% of the time

  • Will be required to attend labs/surgeries.

The Program Coordinator works with the Program Manager on the set up and execution of each educational program. The coordinator's role is to manage the logistics and coordination and provide customer service to a wide range of external customers. Routinely handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Plan, organize and coordinate surgeon educational programs. * Perform venue searches for meeting space and/or sleeping rooms, submitted and evaluate RFP's, negotiate contracts. * Responsible for the coordination of all Globus equipment being sent to any off-site locations assuring that the display/activities of the meeting can be met. * Communication of all meeting details to attendees. * Maintenance of all meeting information (meeting details, attendee tracking, badges, hotels, equipment required, speaker arrangements). * Responsible for communication to the hotel for all planning of logistics. This includes setting-up master billing and billing instructions, rooming list, food and beverage requirements, recreational activities, etc. * Budgeting for meetings. This includes prepared budget cost specifications to include hotel, printing, special events as well as any additional components for all anticipated functions. * Arrange audio/visual/internet equipment. Qualifications and Required Skills * BA/BS degree / Related work experience. Experience working directly with medical professionals in marketing, program/event management or corporate development roles. Experience within the medical device field is a plus. * Very strong organizational skills * Ability to multitask * Attention to detail * Ability to learn quickly scientific and technical knowledge * Working knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills Strong problem solving, decision making and customer service skills required * Ability to travel up to 30%, overnight and weekend travel. * Physically able to lift 40 pounds and to stand for extended periods of time. * Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn new systems. * Willing to work in cadaveric setting * Meeting planning and event coordination experience is desired.
