Within Answer Financial, the eBusiness department defines and develops software solutions in support of the companys mission and strategy. We use an agile software development model to create solutions that include web sites, mobile applications, insurance agency quoting and management systems, insurance product provider integrations, and computer telephony integrations.
An Answer Financial Associate Product Manager in the eBusiness department assists in the creation and enhancement of products that serve our insurance agent user base. These products support the people, process and tools used in insurance agencies. An Associate Product Manager works with insurance agency management, insurance agent users, software development teams and other stakeholders to identify problems and creatively develop solutions that lead to profitable corporate growth.
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise regarding the people, process and tools that comprise the insurance agency distribution system
Document product functionality
Review user feedback, reproduce reported issues, determine impact and prioritize resolutions
Become and maintain the voice of the user when creating and maintaining product features
Meet with users to gain insight into their use of the system
Watch users utilize the products
Generate and interpret data that are relevant to understanding the efficacy of our system and changes imposed on that system
Review utilization metrics
Review revenue generation metrics
Champion a Lean Startup approach using the build-measure-learn feedback loop for product feature implementation
Develop actionable hypotheses which can be tested and objectively measured
Run tests to validate hypotheses and recommend actions based on test results
Bachelors degree (BA or BS) is required
At least 2 years of related experience
