While the world of commerce has changed drastically over the past decades the food distribution industry hasn't changed much. It still runs on pen, paper, phone, fax, email and thousands of spreadsheets. Recent attempts by commerce giants were quite unsuccessful and what works in other industries seems to not apply to food. With years of experience as an independent food distributor Cheetah is here to challenge the status quo by improving how the food distribution industry operates from the inside.

We're looking for our first Associate Product Manager to drive the food distribution commerce platform. In this role you'll be driving the development of multiple features in our core customer-facing application. We're a small company, so you'll work directly with all members of the technology organization - from CTO to individual engineers. With a modern tech stack and talented engineers you can bring your ideas to life in no time! Applicants must reside in the California Bay Area and be open to a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize features based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.

• Be the thought leader in defining new product features. Define detailed requirements in partnership with cross-functional teams, external partners and customers.

• Solve real-life industrial problems in a more efficient way leveraging latest technological advances.

• Drive the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and BD teams to drive product adoption, retention, and growth.

• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to inform product strategy and roadmap.

Experience:

• Interest in building and launching complex B2B platforms at scale

• Analytical and wired to derive valuable insights from limited amounts of qualitative data

• Passionate technologist with a brilliant growth hacker mindset and business acumen

• Strong communication, storytelling, and problem-solving skills

Compensation

• $110,000-155,000 per year + stock options
