From researching the rapidly-growing industry of data privacy, to monitoring product metrics, contributing to design decisions and coordinating releases, this role will be involved across all areas of the product to ensure its success.

Termly uses a time-zone bounded remote work approach to staffing. While our headquarters is in Seattle, we adopted a remote-friendly approach.

What the role involves:

  • Help to develop the product strategy by performing research and analysis into the industry, customer needs, product usage metrics and competition.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, Engineering and Design teams to prioritize backlogs, scope new work to be done, write user stories, perform user acceptance testing and follow projects to completion.
  • Determine, implement and evaluate business and product metrics to support decision making and meet organizational information needs.
  • Coordinate product marketing efforts to communicate product features and benefits with potential customers.
  • Develop customer feedback loops to collect, organize and respond to customer needs.
  • Analyze internal processes and systems to suggest and implement operational improvements.


Must have

  • Minimum BA/BS degree in Business, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Able to bridge communication gaps between multiple teams (technical and non-technical) up and down the company.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, with an ability to interpret data and communicate findings.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Heap.
  • Great organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of web development in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Comfortable writing basic queries in SQL, with an understanding of data management concepts.
  • Naturally inquisitive, with a desire to learn new things and get to the root of things you don't understand.

Nice to have

  • Experience in project management and gathering and synthesizing requirements, with a familiarity of software development concepts and processes.
  • Experience with project management and DevOps tools such as Jira and Github.
  • Familiarity with international data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Experience with CMS and site builders such as Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow.
  • Understanding of modern web tracking concepts and concerns.
