Position Overview

TheAssociate Director Product Management, CGRP Neurosciences is accountable fordeveloping, executing and managing pre-launch and launch programs and offeringswithin Allergan CGRP Neurosciences. In this role, the Product Manager/ AssociateDirector will foster strong relationships with internal and bi-coastalstakeholders, physicians/KOLs, the sales force and external vendors. This rolecollaborates closely with bi-coastal directors, product managers, and agency partnersto create innovative and best-in-class launch initiatives that drive brandawareness and product adoption. The successful candidate will have experiencein the following areas: working in a multi-faceted high-paced matrixenvironment, strategic marketing plan development and execution, projectmanagement, effective communication skills, ability to multi-task andconsistently manage multiple projects and budget oversight.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Develop key launch marketing materials including videos, digital selling tools, brochures for HCP personal and non-personal promotion.

  • Partner with market research, analytics, and conference teams related to key physician insights

  • Coordinate access and savings program initiatives to enable streamlined product access

  • Present, lead, and negotiate pieces through the legal, regulatory, and medical review process

  • Coordinate the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments including marketing, strategic communications, consumer marketing, training, market research, legal, regulatory, and compliance

  • Develops effective working relationships with sales force, key physicians and APPs, brand teams and executive leadership. Stays abreast of industry trends in migraine.

  • Collaborates and maintains a high level of communication with cross functional partners

  • Responsible for budget coordination andmanagement

Requirements

Thefollowing listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to beconsidered for the job:

  • Minimum 5 years of specialty sales/marketing experience required

  • Understand verification of benefits for patient coverage

  • Experience in product launches

  • Healthcare industry experience with an established track record in managing industry-based marketing functions

Preferred Skills/Qualification

Thebelow skills are attributes that may not be mandatory, but are definitelydesired in the ideal candidate.

  • At least 2 years product management experience in direct to physician marketing preferred

  • Highly desired: +3 years experienced marketing to health care providers

  • Highly desired: 2+ years successful specialty sales experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited institution required; Master's degree from an accreditedinstitution preferred

You'll partner with other leaders to translate product vision into strategic and technological business decisions. You'll drive accountability and metrics ownership to translate strategy into results. Lastly, you'll align and inspire your organization by effectively communicating the strategy and driving the team to success.
