Handle product development for RRL Woven and Denim categories and styles appointed for each season.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Send, track, and follow up on any incoming and outgoing packages. Includes fit samples, showroom samples, wash trials, trims, labels, and packaging. Ensure ordered quantity is received and properly documented.
Ensure all incoming and outgoing submits and samples are properly organized and tagged.
Work with Merchandising/ Design to ensure Stats are sent to them and GFE is set up accurately in a timely manner.
Create and own updates on PLM Tech packs and seasonal line lists.
Prepare for and attend fittings / meetings and make proper adjustments to Tech packs and Line lists capturing all changes. Communicate any changes to related partners with a sense of urgency.
Own communication as the main contact with agents, factories, vendors, and cross-functional partners for day-to-day product development follow-up.
Convey Design's direction on wash and product approvals to vendors/ agents through e-mails and conference calls.
Work with Design, Tech Design, and Production partners to ensure development process is moving forward and meeting key development calendar DDD.
Work with Design/ cross-functional partners to follow-up on Trim/ Label/ Packaging development. Monitor development and order samples as necessary.
Prepare and monitor Work-in-progress (WIP) reports and follow up with pending submits on a timely manner to achieve required approval deadlines.
Communicate status updates in weekly WIP meetings and ensure the team is all on the same page.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Education (Degree): Bachelors Degree
Knowledge of woven garment manufacturing process.
Strong organizational skills with attention to details.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
1 to 2 years of experience in the apparel industry.
Ability to multi task under pressure
