A strong AP who can assess, assign & forecast production team workload while confidently communicating, cross-functionally, on capacity, established priorities & escalated issues. Someone who views supporting production teams to be as important as building long-term partnerships with departments outside QVC, external vendors & suppliers. And someone who can consistently evolve & adapt as business & distribution platform needs change, i.e., keep up with the speed of retail.

Job Description Details
Day in the Life
The AP will be responsible for managing all aspects of video production-including, but not limited to:
Researching, storyboarding, scripting, and pitching
Obtaining approvals & legal clearances
Booking/directing talent, scouting locations, planning schedules, locating existing assets, acquiring product, working with stylists, and leading crews
Logging material, planning edits, file management, server management
Organizing post-production, briefing GFX teams, seeking sign-off & taking/acting upon notes/feedback
Maintaining QVC brand voice/style
Provide support in the creation of content for multi-platform output
Provide production support for QVC e-commerce platforms including web/ mobile web/ app/ email.
TV Promo Production: provide support to create innovative and customer-focused promo spots that persuade viewers to watch & shop specific brands/ events or deliver on other marketing needs.
Traffic managing the workload of the team. Effectively communicating to team members, partners on workload capacity, priorities, issues, timelines, product coordination and procurement.
Researches new content trends and techniques.
Works with market teams to implement new ideas.
Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
3 years of work experience in all aspects of digital photo/video production including shooting, editing, lighting, scripting, file management and project management
Familiarity with using Adobe Suite: especially Premiere & After Effects.
Experience producing photo/video consumer-facing content for commercial clients
Confident shooting & lighting for both photo and video.
Comfortable producing compelling content from desk- using QVC/ vendor/ stock video/stills & GFX where appropriate to create engaging material from existing assets.
File and data management experience.
Well versed in project management and workflow.
Must have flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed to meet deadlines; including nights and weekends.
Ability to travel as needed
Valid Driver's License
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time & lift, push, carry up to 50lbs
Nice to Haves
Retail, direct to consumer marketing, Short-form video with specific marketing/ sales goals/ metrics experience.
Good communicator and able to offer clear vision for projects and collaborate with requesters to help identify and define their needs- and take their notes where necessary.
Able to multi-task and manage their own schedule and the schedule of the team, frequently overseeing multiple jobs at various stages of production.
Highly creative and innovative.
Ability to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
