The Associate Producer (AP) will generally assist the Producer in putting together footage/content for the Content Production team, including long form, short form, promos, B-roll, documentaries, one-ups, interstitials, infomercials, and miscellaneous roll-in packages. Given the scope of our projects, the AP may often be called upon to make editorial decisions with the post-production team, by finding and/or choosing the shots that match copy or intent. The AP will also act, at times, as a very hands-on AD (Assistant Director) on set during shoots.
Duties may include:
Pre-production assistance with shoots
Production and post-production coordination
Creating production grids (shoot schedules)
Re-writing, editing copy (occasional writing)
Acting as AD on set during shoots
Assist with final project delivery
Other duties as assigned by management
Required experience includes:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Film, Television, Production or related field
Minimum two years of professional, related experience
Proven and extensive experience in writing and producing English-language projects
Must have solid organizational skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities on a day-to-day basis
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and "go the extra mile" under tight deadlines
A compelling video demo reel and writing portfolio
Experience with Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office software
Ability to work regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands
