BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR - MDM, SUPPLY CHAIN & MANUFACTURING

While we have commercial Master Data Management (MDM) and Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) expertise at ZS, we are looking for someone to bring these together to tailor solutions for core SCM customers. As we expand our services and offerings in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing domain and propel our clients towards Industry 4.0, we see a need for a future-proof data foundation, starting with the mastering of core entities.

This requires deep expertise in the data, it's interconnectivity and regional diversity, as well as how it drives business outcomes within Supply Planning and Manufacturing organizations.

The successful candidate will work closely with ZS practice leadership and be responsible for evolving our practice, enriching our practice assets and collaterals, building, and managing client relationships, generating new business engagements, and providing thought leadership. This role will report to the Executive Director(s) and co-lead and co-share responsibilities with the Senior Director(s) in the practice.

Responsibilities / What you will do:

• Enhance and elevate ZS' POV on the need, value, and business benefit of a robust MDM foundation in Supply Chain and Manufacturing as the underpinning for the digital thread critical to support the digital and AI revolution (emphasis on life-sciences)

• Bring in a strong, experience-based industry perspective to lead the design and development of ZS' SCM MDM assets and accelerators on the relevant functional technology stack;

• Provide solid domain and industry acumen, with a future-proof view to solving business problems and client challenges; support experience backed solutions

• Collaborate with our clients and client service teams to understand challenges and roadblocks, identify opportunities, and drive go-to-market strategy in co-selling the practice area solutions and service offerings

• Co-architect and co-author whitepaper and point-of-views with practice leaders.

• Co-design and evolve practice services and offerings by bringing competitive insights, market lens, our large account needs etc.

• Represent practice at firm level and firm at executive level through effective communication and presentation skills.

• Facilitate outreach to a broad swatch of clients within Supply Chain & Manufacturing; develop and maintain multiple client relationships simultaneously

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's business challenges (in functional context) and shape the solution design and deployment plan collaborating with internal as well as client stakeholders;

• Track industry trends and shape industry - leading solutions to enable faster time to value realization;

• Collaborate with internal practice and client teams to ideate, estimate and plan strong client proposals;

• Independently lead the delivery of multiple projects across clients, while driving demand for our offerings and services;

• Manage project financials and escalations, balancing across project scope, client expectations and financial commitments;

• Collaborate with tandem lead in India to shape and build a team with strong technical and functional skills onshore and offshore;

• Mentor, develop and motivate ZS teams and people and lead by example.
