We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a market leading Medical Device company and at this time we are looking for a Rapid Response MedicalDevice Sales Representative to add to this long-term partnership.

The Rapid Response Representative (RRR) is an entry level function primarily responsible for ensuring that

continued promotional / sales activities are maintained for any type of territory vacancy situation.

The main objective is to limit opportunities for customers to switch patients from our client's products to

competitor products due to diminished share of voice when a territory becomes vacant. Also, the RRR will

maintain sales continuum, market penetration, and customer/account support. The RRR will support other

Sales Specialists in their local area by providing clinical support and case coverage during periods

when there are no vacancies available within the Team.

The Rapid Response Medical Device Sales Representative will own end-to-end selling of appropriate products for Hernia and wound closure and focus on driving growth among target specialists and new accounts. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of Hernia and wound closure surgical products/procedures, while covering a potentially large vacant territory or assisting other representatives in your area by providing clinical support and case coverage when no vacancies exist. In this role you will be interacting with surgeons and surgical suite staff in the Operating Room. The Rapid Response Medical Device Sales Representative is responsible for understanding and demonstrating proper preparation and surgical use of specific target specialty products.

Job Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited University required

  • Minimum of 1 years of B2B sales experience required

  • Prior healthcare experience a plus

  • A proven successful track record

  • Solid business acumen including excellent and persuasive communication

  • Have a valid driver's license and be insurable

  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical and scientific product related information

  • Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities and identify demand within assigned geography

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and execute the selling process in a manner that is concise, compliant, professional, ethical, and persuasive; and which leads to the customer taking action

  • Ability to travel is necessary

  • Residence within the current geography with close proximity to the majority of business is required

Job Overview: The Business Development Executive/Portfolio Specialist is focused on a specific solution set, and aligned to our Salesforce partner relationships. This individual will focus on selling in an assigned territory which will be the Southern California Region (Los Angeles, O.C., or San Diego ) and will be responsible for solution growth with all clients in their territory. Portfolio Specialists work in an overlay capacity with Account Developers and Account Managers in existing clients, but also have the responsibility to open new client relationships.
