Summary:
This position is designed to provide comprehensive training in all aspects of a production facility. The trainee will work closely with team members to learn how to promote a safe working environment and ensure the production of high-quality products in a timely manner.
Through observation and hands-on experience, the trainee will gain knowledge in ensuring operational efficiency, equipment maintenance, regulatory compliance, and basic first aid. The trainee will assist supervisors and managers as needed, preparing for future responsibilities as a supervisor over a specific area.
Responsibilities:
Observe and learn the daily operations of the production facility to ensure maximum efficiency and high-quality output.
Collaborate with Maintenance and other departments to ensure equipment functionality and compliance with government regulations.
Learn and perform first aid when the nurse is not present.
Assist supervisors and managers with various tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Develop an understanding of the interactions between Accounting, Human Resources, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Production departments.
Prepare for future supervisory responsibilities through comprehensive on-the-job training.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience: No prior experience required but poultry leadership experience is preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Travel: Not required.
Reports to: Assistant Plant Manager
This role is designed to equip the trainee with the skills and knowledge necessary to take on a supervisory position within the production facility, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the operational and administrative functions critical to production management.
