These teams work collaboratively with each business unit to maximize our competitive edge in the marketplace.

Job Summary

Remote role! This role can work remotely from a designated home office.

A bright, organized, analytical, and detail oriented individual will be placed on the ecommerce H&G team to directly engage with Amazon and internal teams to manage the Amazon.com business. The Associate NAM must apply a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to develop and implement strategic initiatives, incorporating consumer needs, marketing initiatives, product development roadmaps, customer pilots, and supply chain innovation to drive the performance of our brands, both online and offline.

This Associate National Account Manager role will support our Home & Garden (H&G) business unit. The Home & Garden business unit delivers groundbreaking products of exceptional value and top-notch quality to consumers with our well-recognized brands including Spectracide, Hot Shot, Cutter, Repel, Black Flag, Garden Safe, EcoLogic and Liquid Fence.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual sales strategy for Amazon:

  • Own the ecommerce strategy, utilizing the ecommerce pillars, focusing on long-term, sustainable growth across total H&G.

  • Create "Think Big" opportunities with Amazon:

  • Identify consumer-centric opportunities that can be addressed through innovation and collaboration with Amazon.

  • Influence total H&G Omni-channel strategy:

  • This role will recommend enhancements to existing plans as well as develop nascent strategies to grow total market segment share.

  • Maintain the Omni-channel foundation:

  • Implement and re-invent the ecommerce pillars with Amazon to drive foundational excellence across total H&G.

  • Identify selection and marketing gaps with H&G:

  • Analyze the selection opportunities, including B2B, bundles, and product innovation to drive incremental growth in the category; bridge marketing need with H&G capabilities.

  • Communicate the Amazon results:

  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual updates; this includes tracking for Amazon sales and ecommerce pillars metrics as well as "Think Big" strategic project updates.

  • Share best practices across customer teams:

  • Work across our internal teams to leverage best practices and economies of scale.

  • Assist in developing consumer insights:

  • Integrate with our brand/marketing team to aggregate consumer and retailer insights to develop new insights into shopping behavior and product development.

Education and Experience Profile

An equivalent combination of:

  • BS/BA degree

  • 3-5 years of applicable experience required; 5 years' experience in one of several fields: ecommerce vendor management, ecommerce consulting, business analyst, engineering, or Brand Manager role at leading consumer packaged goods company, preferred

  • Relevant classroom experience in ecommerce, brand management, financial analysis, retail buying and/or planning, product/project management, or marketing

  • The ability to quickly learn a varied set of tools (including content health scoring, keyword optimization, and 3rd party/retailer platforms) is necessary

  • Prior experience with data analysis, senior level presentation, ambiguity management, and account/vendor management, preferred
