Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks an Associate in New York, New York

Use a combination of financial analysis, mathematical modeling, and computer science to analyze data from U.S. rates/inflation market. Perform rapid analysis of emerging trading opportunities, risk analysis, and developing trading infrastructure.

Create and maintain tools to support daily pnl/risk analysis and reporting for U.S. Treasury desk. Use various statistical techniques to distill the core drivers from large repositories of data.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Computational Finance, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as an Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with:

SQL and Database; and Shell Scripts. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Business Statistics; Business Intelligence; Python; C++; Corporate Finance; and Financial Derivatives.

Requires any amount of experience with: Stochastic Calculus; Probability Theory; Machine Mining; Q/KDB; Accounting; and Risk Management.
