The Integer Group is looking for an Associate Media Director in our Dallas, Texas office.
Responsible for leading the development, presentation, implementation of holistic media strategies on a key, fast paced piece of business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate thought leadership and innovation for enhanced media plans and results across all media touch points
Offers guidance, support and proactive solutions to the team in regard to problems which arise in the media planning and buying process
Assists in evaluating, advising and training assigned personnel to assure maximum productivity, quality of work and morale; supervises staff members with the objective of developing their professionalism in addition to media expertise
Act as a key media visionary and client lead
Showcase ability to leverage research, segmentation information and data to uncover strong consumer insights to properly inform media strategy
Understand and lead process of preparing, evaluating and implementing media plans, as well as overseeing setup, execution and reporting
Confidently present and sell in media recommendations to clients
Achieves/maintains visibility and credibility within the agency and client base and with media vendors
Maintains collaborative and professional interpersonal relationships across all levels of the organization, with Media team, with Account Leadership teams and with external contacts (such as clients, reps, stations, etc)
Involved in new business and integration of new clients into the media department, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in media planning and buying mechanics through relevant work experience, typically 7+ years, with emphasis on digital and broadcast.
Macintosh or PC and related software proficiency.
Professional, positive attitude.
Detail oriented, organized and accurate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interacts on a daily basis with Media Vendors, internal Account Leadership teams, Finance (internal and/or client), and Corporate Media.
Flexible able to work extra hours with little or no advance notification
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a stressful environment
Actively participates in agency and professional training initiatives and seminar trainings
Availability to travel if needed
