THE ROLE

Associate Marketing Specialist, Commercial Lines

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Remarketing to existing customers through all of the available insurance carriers to keep their rates competitive, and improve agency's customer retention

• Responsible for the re-marketing application process for all insurance lines

• Supporting the Account Management team with overflow of agency servicing as needed

• Cross sell existing customers for additional lines of coverage

• Responsible for supporting Commercial Producer team; marketing new business accounts and creating new business proposals

• Stay informed on new and changing carrier and industry updates and trends and communicate back to the Commercial Lines team

• Performs other related job duties as assigned and required

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• 2 + years' experience in a professional work setting

• Active P&C license required

• Solid knowledge and understanding of P&C insurance industry required

• Experience with carrier rating sites

• Experience with agency management systems required, AMS 360 system experience preferred

• Ability to manage and prioritize time well, strong organizational skills

• Strong communication skills required (written and verbal)

• Strong multitasking computer skills, knowledgeable with Microsoft Office

• Ability to hold self-accountable for department and company standards

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced dynamic work environment

Salary Range is $40,000 - $45,000 annually
