Job Description: Summary
The Associate Marketing Specialist role utilizes a variety of skills and talents to ensure that Marketing campaigns are executed on time; providing timely information and data to outside vendors as part of these campaigns; drive administrative functions that ensure smooth operations of the marketing department; help in the development of sampling efforts, customer communications (including digital, social, events and traditional marketing channels). Lastly, this person will play a critical role in the tracking of marketing spend. This role, as part of a small team, is a deep immersion opportunity in developing the skills, techniques, tactics and strategies in cutting edge marketing.
Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager (Customer Acquisition) based in Stuart, FL this newly created role is an important piece of the marketing team's ability to grow the business. This person must be able to work across the organization to ensure proper campaign execution.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will be the "go to" person for the marketing team to ensure campaign execution. This person will need the ability to apply common sense and analyze a situation, recommend the best solution and then help execute that recommendation.
Be a key player in our customer acquisition efforts. Partners with the entire marketing team to ensure timely and accurate marketing campaign execution (includes social, digital, direct mail and TV among others).
Marketing Campaign support from pulling lists to coordinating with suppliers to get mailing delivered on time. Help in the development of email campaigns and reporting.
Monitor Social Media.
Develop ad hoc reporting tools to assist in the management of various campaigns.
Interface with Vendors to ensure timely delivery and work with Operations to ensure the database is being updated from returned mail (electronic or manual).
Tracking spend, PO creation, bill reconciliation and ensure timely presentation to Accounting.
Works with regulatory, compliance and legal as needed (Veeva process management).
Supports as required ecommerce initiatives.
Support sampling efforts as needed.
Bachelor's degree preferred or sufficient years of applicable experience in a marketing capacity.
Project management experience required.
Experience in a B2C marketing environment. B2B experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office tools, particularly excel.
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments
Effective problem-solving skills
Detail oriented execution person who can see where the role fits in a successful marketing team.
