POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Associate works directly with the Marketing and Merchandising teams to support brand marketing and store growth. The Marketing Associate will manage the production schedules, timelines and budgets of print and digital media projects and ensure that all groups are in communication with each other and on-brand. In addition, the candidate will support the Grand Opening initiatives in planning the event and advertising. The candidate should have the overall ability to thrive and excel in a fast paced, high growth, competitive environment and to manage resources in a cost effective manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar field

  • Three to five years of experience in retail marketing, agency marketing or project management

  • Ability to negotiate and communicate with vendors on value-engineering price and production

  • Strong analytical skills to systemically review and assess marketing efforts

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with a variety of people; ability to tailor verbal message based on the audience

  • Self motivated and organized with a high attention to detail

  • Ability to be a team leader and facilitate brainstorming sessions.

  • Capable of facilitating new ideas from conception thru execution with a focus on project management

  • Some travel required

  • Intermediate computer proficiency with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Prior experience within marketing and/or printing/production.

  • Experience with the teen or youth market preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processes, systems and implementation of programs to manage all campaigns/project workflow

  • Hold all teams and individuals accountable for campaigns/projects to ensure milestones are complete in a timely manner

  • Create a uniform proofing process for business initiatives

  • Establish briefing process rigor and actionable meetings to ensure seamless workflow

  • Spearhead the plan to optimize trafficking of all creative elements pertaining to marketing projects

  • Transform the in-store experience into an entertaining visit

  • Identify, manage and optimize all print production vendors and processes to ensure best-in-class store signage experiences in 750+ stores

  • Develop digital store experiences and customer interaction points for 750+ stores

  • Be a thought leader and pushing the organization to innovate in the space

  • Plan, collaborate and communicate visual elements and approvals to internal divisions

  • Implement clear and concise reporting, detailed schedules and due dates

  • Lead the store experience budgeting process and continuously improve effectiveness and the ROI of investments

  • Sponsor new ideas and the development and testing of signage elements
