Position Overview

Our Associate Marketing Managers assist in the execution and strategy of both creative and media supporting owned and paid channels, including but not limited to email, SMS, direct mail, broadcast, and digital and social paid media. This role partners cross-divisionally with internal teams (product, creative, digital, loyalty, insights & analytics, customer teams, etc.) and external partners (media agency, platform partners, retailers) to activate consumers and to deliver the execution plan to market. This role also helps manage product marketing planning with partners across all Hallmark product categories in both everyday and seasonal timeframes.

We currently have openings in the following departments:

  • Hallmark's National Marketing Team is on the front lines of the brand's consumer perception and experience. We work across all marketing channels from broadcast to direct mail to digital (and everywhere in between), with the mission to get more Hallmark products in the hands of consumers who wish to lead caring, connected lives.

  • Hallmark's Shopper Marketing Team is a high-performance, fast paced, results-orientated, team-centric group that lives at the intersection of the Hallmark brand and our key Retailers who sell Hallmark. We work across all marketing channels, are omni-channel focused, keep the shopper top-of-mind, and are always-on Our mission is to meet our shopper where she is, support her in leading a caring, connect life, and drive growth for Hallmark and our Retailers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional experience

  • At least 3 years of marketing experience

  • Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion and intellectual curiosity for marketing

  • Possess a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers

  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with management at different levels, internal and external audiences, as well as the Hallmark consumer

  • Excellent interactive and presentation skills to effectively communicate and update a diverse team on marketing strategies and trends

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build partnerships and influence internal partners across a matrix organization

  • Detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while working under pressure and deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task in previous work environments and be able to stay focused, meet deadlines and follow through

  • Experience with paid media marketing and 1-to-1 communication marketing
