Summary: The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of strategic plans for CHG's consumer branded products portfolio, in collaboration with marketing leadership to increase awareness, value, and drive growth. Key areas of focus include planning, execution, budget management, and oversight of new products/line extensions from concept to commercialization. This role will create and manage integrated marketing and communications to drive growth and profitability.
Brand Strategy and Communication:
Lead the integrated marketing communications process to ensure compelling agency briefs, traditional and digital media strategy, retailer media and overall communication.
Assist with the management of external agency partners in the development and execution of digital/media communication and advertising strategies.
Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the brand's marketing activities and initiatives.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, agencies, and customers.
Provide administrative and logistical support to the Sr. Brand Manager and the Marketing team.
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze business via syndicated data and stay up to date on latest industry trends, best practices and competitors' activities.
Use insights to provide recommendations relative to integrated marketing plans, innovation, activation and key market support.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, preferences, and feedback.
Project Management
Lead cross-functional teams to manage projects and deliver business objectives, inclusive of in-store support vehicles, forecasting and inventory management.
Collaborate with consumer insights, R&D, and cross-functional teams in identifying new product opportunities and innovation strategy.
Annual Category Planning
Participate in and lead elements of the annual brand planning process including identifying future opportunities and briefing agency partners.
Work with Marketing leadership to define the strategy, positioning, destination, and roadmap for brands.
Budget Management
Manage digital marketing/media budget, set and monitor digital KPIs, and recommend effective marketing spend initiatives based on ROI analysis
Manage agency spend for traditional and digital advertising, promotions, merchandising, collateral, etc.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience in brand marketing or related field. Background in Consumer Goods (CPG) strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, matrix environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Experience working with external agency partners including (but not limited to) digital marketing, PR, web management, photography, consumer insights, shopper marketing, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Passion to deliver results and think strategically. A collaborative mindset and comfortable leading teams
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
Familiarity with commonly used consumer research methodologies and able to draw conclusions from research and translate learnings into successful new initiatives.
Knowledge of multiple digital disciplines including but not limited to web, search, mobile, data and analytics.

Office environment
Light physical effort. Requires standing, sitting, walking, talking, seeing, hearing, fine dexterity, and handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds.
Travel - approx. 10 - 15%
