Associate Manufacturing Engineer
As an entry level engineer and under the direction of more experienced engineers, you'll perform routine manufacturing engineering work requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
Working as part of a Manufacturing Engineering Group, the primary area of responsibility is supporting developing and mature production programs in the fabrication shop with effective design of tools, fixtures, gages, procedures, and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Prepare engineered or estimated time standards for setup and run hours for each operation.
Make recommendations for improvement on fixtures, parts, drawings and manufacturing techniques.
In pre-production and production phases of a program, the Manufacturing Engineer will help determine manufacturing procedures, establish operation sequencing, prepare tooling and gauging lists, and write detailed operation sheets to produce complex machined parts and sub-assemblies to meet engineering drawings.
Provides technical support to the production shops solving problems and improving processes associated with the parts/fixtures and manufacturing capital equipment he/she is responsible for. These problems may arise for any number of reasons such as tooling, machine tool, gauging, heat treating, and plating. The solution of these problems may require the Manufacturing Engineer's decision alone or could result in contacting and working with other members of the Manufacturing Engineering Department, Moog Product or Design Engineers, Quality Assurance personnel, M & P Engineers, Inspectors, Production supervision, Purchasing, Production Scheduling, or Moog vendors.
Coordinate with various departments and team members to assure the most effective design and use of manufacturing facilities and processes. For training and development purposes, may include some work that is typical of a higher level.
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. Degree (ME or IE preferred) Additional seasoned experience in manufacturing engineering that would be equivalent to what is learned in a degreed program would be an acceptable alternative to the BS Degree requirement.
Possess human relation skills to work with Moog suppliers to coordinate operation sheets containing outside and inside operations.

The base pay range for this opportunity is $60,736. - $85,000. per year. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
