The Production Planning and Control organization of Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector seeks dynamic individuals to join their fast paced team as an Associate Manufacturing Analyst.
The Associate Manufacturing Analyst is responsible for:
Planning, preparing, issuing and managing production schedules and coordinating with Material Requirements Planning to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
Managing the movement of material from receipt into the manufacturing area through delivery to the customer.
Providing specific direction and training, as required, and assisting less senior personnel.
Overseeing the status of work in process, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and support services are available, as needed.
Advising management of concerns that could impact production schedules and providing visibility.
Scheduling and prioritizing equipment and personnel, confirming material supply and demand, preparing work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, inventory control, transportation, etc.
Performing rough cut resource capacity analysis relating to production schedules.
Supporting production, business management, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Communicating effectively with both customers and all levels of management.
The chosen candidate will have good communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 months of relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related field OR Industrial Engineering or other technical area
Comprehension of technical concepts
Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning and Shop Floor Systems
Experience in Production Control and Manufacturing Processes
