The Production Planning and Control organization of Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector seeks dynamic individuals to join their fast paced team as an Associate Manufacturing Analyst.

The Associate Manufacturing Analyst is responsible for:

  • Planning, preparing, issuing and managing production schedules and coordinating with Material Requirements Planning to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.

  • Managing the movement of material from receipt into the manufacturing area through delivery to the customer.

  • Providing specific direction and training, as required, and assisting less senior personnel.

  • Overseeing the status of work in process, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and support services are available, as needed.

  • Advising management of concerns that could impact production schedules and providing visibility.

  • Scheduling and prioritizing equipment and personnel, confirming material supply and demand, preparing work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.

  • Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, inventory control, transportation, etc.

  • Performing rough cut resource capacity analysis relating to production schedules.

  • Supporting production, business management, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.

  • Communicating effectively with both customers and all levels of management.

The chosen candidate will have good communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

MANUMS

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 months of relevant experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related field OR Industrial Engineering or other technical area

  • Comprehension of technical concepts

  • Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning and Shop Floor Systems

  • Experience in Production Control and Manufacturing Processes

  • SAP experience

VIEW JOBS 8/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-18T00:00 13 LOCATION OF POSITION MDH, Board of Physicians, Baltimore, MD Main Purpose of Job The MBP Licensure Analyst Associate will learn to provide analytical skills in the Physician Licensure Unit to ensure that initial applications for licensure and reinstatement applications are processed in a timely manner, while assuring all applicants/licensees have met minimum qualifications according to the statue and regulations of Maryland which includes an evaluation of the applicant's character and fitness for licensure. This position determines the eligibility of any initial medical licensure applications that are submitted to the Board of Physicians where the applicant has answered Yes to any of the Character and Fitness questions. This position will also learn to prepare and present investigative findings and materials to the Board's Disciplinary Panel and the full Board meeting. This position is also responsible for managing/analyzing/processing these applications from the initial licensure stage through final disposition by the Board. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: One (1) year of experience in administrative or professional work. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute additional experience in administrative staff or professional work on a year-for-year basis for the required education. 2. Candidates may substitute additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for the required experience. 3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included the regular exercise of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred candidates should possess experience with current statutes and regulations governing licensure In Maryland. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
