Cell Therapy Supply Chain planning is responsible to support the development and execution of the global plan for clinical and commercial cell therapy supply.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, to the following:

  • Manage the monthly planning activities of the global supply chain for cell therapy products

  • Develop supply strategies for critical raw materials used in manufacturing and ensure availability

  • Use the Supply Chain Planning Systems to generate raw material supply plans based on inventory policies and any constraints

  • Generate inventory projections, issue summaries, and other KPIs and reports for S&OP purposes

  • Monthly network capacity planning to ensure supply plans are aligned with manufacturing and quality capabilities

  • Support multiple supply chain projects associated with the set-up and product launch and life-cycle management activities

  • Set up and maintain planning data parameters required for planning and reporting

  • Key member of Product Supply Chain Team(s) - cross functional team tasked with ensuring implementation of product specific supply strategy

  • Identify opportunities to mature the organization and support the creation of new business processes

  • Lead cross-functional projects and meetings to resolve issues

  • Partner with stakeholders such as Manufacturing, MS&T, Quality, Strategic Sourcing, etc. to create and implement best practices

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 2-5 years of planning experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

  • Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, demand planning, quality, and develop-ment organizations

  • Experience planning in a multiple manufacturing site and/or contract manufacturing environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Hands-on team team player willing to work in an environment where individual initiative, accountability, and professional maturity are required

  • Must have strong analytical skills

  • Able to synthesize information into a presentation appropriate to the organizational-level of the audience. Able to summarize information concisely and communicate it using appropriate medium

  • Must be able to work with limited day-to-day supervision.

  • Strong PC experience, Microsoft Office Suite experience required including; Excel; Outlook; PowerPoint

  • Oracle EBS / Advance Supply Chain Planning or SAP experience required.

  • APICS certification is a plus.

VillageReach in incorporated in Washington State and has offices in Seattle (USA), Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, and Mozambique. </p> <h3>Summary</h3> <p>In this role the Supply Chain Associate will be responsible for the providing programmatic support to the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all supply chain activities supported by the Global Technical Team. S/he works closely with the Director, Supply Chain, other project staff in a range of assignments. The position can be located in Sub-Saharan Africa, specifically in Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, South Africa, or in USA. </p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;</p><ul> <li>Contribute to the design, planning and execution of high-impact projects to improve supply chain performance.
