The Role

As a Supervisor in Remarketing Used Vehicle Operations, you will lead a shop team and be responsible for driving operational efficiency. This position requires a significant amount of interaction with technicians, so the ideal candidate will not only possess a general management mindset, but also the ability to learn and provide a basic level of technical support. With excellence being the passing grade, your ability to innovate and produce results will directly support Tesla's mission. The environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative. The role may require local travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate processes and staff workloads to ensure efficient movement of vehicles, inputs, and people

  • Champion quality, safety, open communication, active problem solving, and a positive work environment that inspires your team to meet both daily and strategic goals

  • Measure operational and financial performance while working with shop staff, Remarketing leadership, Tesla partners, and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement

  • Effectively set goals, handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform related duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 1-3 years management experience

  • Prior automotive industry experience or experience in service-focused industry

  • Ability to collect, analyze, and present data persuasively using oral and written communication skills

  • Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications (Office 365)

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

  • Valid driver's license in the country in which you are applying, 2 year minimum driving record required with a clean driving history

  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
