TA is a strategic, high-impact function which will be focused on attracting and engaging diverse talent to meet nCino's future talent needs. As a leader in the TA team, you will be responsible for driving TA excellence through:

Essential Functions:

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead your team with humility, respect, and care. Create a trusting team atmosphere that celebrates wins and offers honest and direct feedback.

  • Cultivate talent on your team through mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities.

  • Work with TA Leadership team peers to establish and track goals, utilize reports and dashboards to measure effectiveness and results.

  • Build solid partnerships with senior leaders to understand how talent plays a part in meeting business objectives.

  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of TA processes; gather feedback from candidates, teammates and hiring managers, and utilize data to refine and improve processes.

  • Be the first escalation point for team questions and challenges and hiring manager concerns.

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Support in the development and implementation of a comprehensive TA strategy (i.e. Talent Management & Intelligence, TA Consulting, Early Careers etc.) aligned with the company's talent goals.

  • Collaborate closely with TA, People Operations stakeholders, and business leaders to understand talent needs.

  • Conduct regular market research to identify external talent trends and industry best practices.

  • Continuously assess and optimize TA tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; stay informed of industry innovations to evolve team approaches.

  • Collaborate with employer branding teams to ensure a strong and consistent employer brand presence in the market.

  • Develop and deliver training programs for TA team members to enhance their skills and stay updated on best practices.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the TA team.

Talent Management & Intelligence

  • Contribute to our efforts in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance our TA strategies.

  • Execute the talent sourcing strategy and guide a team of sourcing specialists in practice and mentorship.

  • Deliver regular reports and presentations that communicate TM&I findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other TA teams in leveraging TM&I to make informed decisions about talent.

  • Monitor sourcing metrics to measure the success of sourcing strategies and make effective improvements.

Talent Acquisition Consulting

  • Contribute to and guide the execution of the TA Consulting team's strategic plan, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their TA challenges, goals, and objectives, and tailor TA consulting solutions accordingly.

  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and demonstrating the value of our TA Consulting services.

  • Work with the TA Consulting team to develop and deliver compelling presentations, workshops, and training sessions for stakeholders and internal teams.

  • Early Careers

  • Design and implement effective internship, apprenticeship, and graduate programs aligned to strategic talent and skills goals of the organization

  • Develop and deepen relationships with educational institutions, career centers, and industry networks to attract top-tier talent.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to interns, apprentices, and graduates to ensure successful navigation of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 4 + years of experience in TA, early careers recruitment, talent intelligence, data analytics, or related roles and bachelor's degree in human resources, people analytics, management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data sets and translate them into actionable recommendations.

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and TA technology platforms.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to confidently articulate the TA offering.

  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge of TA strategies and trends, including sourcing techniques, tools, and platforms.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation and reporting.

  • A proven track record of success in utilizing sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Talent Insights
