Overview of the role The Procurement Agent will be responsible for strategic sourcing of goods and services across various procurement categories. Partner with internal customers to establish needs and quality standards to make best recommendations. Support internal customers and stores with resolution of any supply chain issues, including sourcing, distribution, and inventory management.

Negotiate contracts, analyze and provide strategic solutions to achieve superior quality and maximize budget. This position is onsite in SF 4x a week (hybrid role). Responsibilities Manage purchasing processes for each construction project. This includes gathering proposals from all vendors, leading budget approval meetings, entering POs into contract management platform, issuing POs, collecting invoices.

Focus on cost savings by identifying opportunities for efficiency. Collaborate with Procurement Senior Manager to create annual Procurement roadmap. Support negotiations for one-time and longer-term contracts.

Support supplier portfolio management, data analysis, stakeholder support, market research and request for proposals. Respond to supplier service and/or quality issues to mitigate negative impact on the company. Complete contract reviews to identify and implement Williams-Sonoma business requirements.

Onboard new suppliers. Assist with contract tracking and approvals. Coordinate training of each new vendor with business partners.

Source new vendors as needed. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Criteria Bachelor's degree in related technical field such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Business or similar fields 4 years' experience in related technical field such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Business or similar fields 2 years experience in purchasing/procurement activities such as tenders, negotiations, and contracts Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects across different areas of the business.

Exceptionally strong written/verbal communication skills. Strong customer service mindset. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work with all levels and functions within the company.

Ability to perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company's values. Proven track record in communication, analytical and prioritization skills. Ability to bring creativity and innovation to problem solving.

Ability to run projects end to end and overcome internal and external obstacles. Ability to work self-directed in fast paced, multitask and matrixed environment. Excellent communication skills.

Must be fluent in English. The expected starting pay range for this position is $95,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets.
