Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
The Associate Manager, Operations Planning is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Bill of Materials (BOM), managing obsolete inventory, participating in project management activities, ensuring production change control, and supporting various operational planning reporting needs. This role requires close collaboration with plants, copackers, and various internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate operations planning.
A Day in the Life...
Bill of Material Maintenance
Ensure all plants and copackers have updated BOMs to align with OSC PCC standards.
Develop and implement an audit process for BOMs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Conduct annual BOM reviews to support cost roll processes.
Train and document BOM maintenance procedures for the organization to ensure consistent practices.
Obsolete Management
Maintain accrual records for all potential obsolete write-offs to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Keep the obso. database updated and accurate.
Collaborate with plants and copackers to facilitate the cleanup of obsolete materials.
Develop and manage forecasts and reports related to obsolete management to support decision-making.
Project Management
Act as the Operations Planning representative on various project teams.
Provide feedback on the feasibility and impact of projects on operations planning.
Engage the Operations Planning team as projects approach go-live to ensure smooth transitions and implementations.
Production Change Control (PCC)
Represent Operations Planning in weekly PCC meetings, ensuring the team's interests are considered.
Present and write PCC change documents on behalf of the Operations Planning team to communicate necessary changes.
Ops Planning Reporting
Support the Director of Operations Planning in preparing the IBP Step 3 deck to facilitate strategic planning.
Create and maintain the availability report for GCO (Global Commercial Operations) and commercial teams to ensure accurate supply information.
Provide production and inventory reports to alliance partners and internal co-pack partners to support operational transparency and efficiency.
What We Are Looking For:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in operations planning, supply chain management, or related roles.
SAP Experience
Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) management and production planning processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office Suite).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and document processes effectively.
Experience in project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
