The LinkedIn Monetization Strategy & Ops team is looking for an Associate Monetization Strategy Manager to help accelerate growth and improve go-to-market strategy across our media & advertising business ($2B+ in revenue). The person will work closely with a cross-functional team and leaders in our marketing, sales, and product organizations to help craft new business models, define monetization strategies for new offerings, optimize packaging & pricing for existing offers, and develop global processes to ensure successful pricing execution. Responsibilities

  • Innovate on go-to-market monetization strategy

  • Identify & prioritize opportunities to drive customer value, penetration, & bookings

  • Help prioritize product roadmaps and determine go-to-market monetization strategy for new offerings

  • Align packaging & pricing with customer value and success

  • Evolve packaging/pricing models to better align with differing customer needs / value / willingness-to-pay and encourage deeper customer relationships

  • Optimize price levels based on value/willingness-to-pay, competition, and go-to-market strategy

  • Improve monetization processes, insights, and performance measurement

  • Develop process foundations to improve price governance, execution, market validation, & decision making

  • Measure and track monetization performance to enable continuous improvements

  • Team up with a diverse cross-functional group of marketing, product and sales experts to bring industry leading solutions to market

  • Conduct hypothesis-driven analyses to identify and quantify pricing & packaging opportunities

  • Scope, structure, and execute upon strategic monetization initiatives to accelerate business growth

  • Build analytical models to inform and influence pricing strategy

  • Drive voice of customer interviews and large-scale quantitative customer research

  • Work with the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and refine solutions, build consensus, and steer senior-level decision making

  • Design testing and implementation plans to support global rollout of new packaging and pricing initiatives

  • Communicate key insights to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders

  • Extract and synthesize key results and prioritize for communication

  • Transform findings into actionable recommendations

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, marketing, and/or business strategy roles
  • BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience with pricing or go-to-market strategy in the technology space

  • Highly quantitative and data-driven. Experience using hypothesis and data-driven analyses to solve large, complex business problems and quantify business opportunities.

  • Demonstrated experience in monetization strategy and pricing/packaging optimization, preferably in Digital Media / SaaS / Software / Internet businesses

  • Experience or industry knowledge in digital advertising or social media

  • Marketing strategy skills. Ability to understand customer needs/perceived value, drive customer value creation, and develop go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth.

  • Experienced researcher. Expertise with research methodologies and data analytics to support pricing strategies

  • Communication skills. Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally

  • Commitment: Ability to drive key initiatives to successful outcomes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
