POSITION TITLE: Associate Manager Global Product Operations
REPORTS TO: VP Business Strategies & International Product Operations
Lead the development of a commercially viable global assortment with internal AE Omni Merch, Design & Production teams.
Support international team as the product engine between Geo Buyers and Omni-CFT partners (Production, Design, Omni-Merch).
Product development execution that meets the global assortment needs.
Attend all Omni product milestones to understand how the TTL assortment is developing.
Prepare for presentation of international product strategies at Omni milestones for approval.
Collaborate with Geo Buying on geo specific product needs. Support compiling the preseason TTL Global Roadmap to Omni-Merch & Design for all required international product development.
Assort an international collection and work w/ Design to develop International exclusives where applicable.
Understands the product development process and time & action calendar for the brand. Assists manager in working w/ Omni CFT to make adjustments as needed for International.
Compile product communication tools (i.e. buy decks) to ensure all internal partners understand products available to buy and related product detail information for PO/attributing purposes.
Responsible for the creation and/or preparation of all support materials for International product presentations inclusive of maintaining accurate records for all Omni and International exclusive programs through photos/linesheets, roadmap, SVL, laydown documents, color palettes etc.
Understand product performance and works w/ manager on opportunities to respond to changes in the trend within the marketplace in order to impact future product development strategies.
Support International CFT in the presentation of the Global Assortment during seasonal International milestones for external partners.
Support Geo Buying on in-season product updates to external international partners and the product information needed to achieve this on a Weekly/Monthly basis.
Responsible for securing, organizing, and handing off to the appropriate internal partners international exclusive samples for PR, Photo-shoot and Photo-studio purposes.
Build and foster close relationships with Geo Buyers, International CFT and Omni-CFT partners.
Consistently and effectively communicates business related issues to in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KEY BUSINESS PARTNERS:
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent.
2+ years previous experience in retail merchandising.
Business acumen able to analyze and understand the business. See shifts and opportunities to build sound strategies. Able to clearly articulate action points.
Cross culture resourcefulness and sensitivity An international experience is helpful and is open to learning about different cultures and ways of working.
Keen sense of fashion exhibited through personal taste.
Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. Intermediate Excel skills including pivots, V look ups a must.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates a collaborative nature and works well within a team. Able to build relationships w/ Omni Team (Merchandising, Design, Production) as well as International CFT.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Action and deadline orientated with excellent attention to detail and follow through.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
