Job Description

Are you a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for content marketing? We are seeking an Associate Manager, Content Marketing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy that aligns with our company's objectives and engages our target audience across various stages, including awareness, conversion, adoption, and retention. You will oversee the creation of diverse content, from articles and white papers to videos and social media posts, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and relevance. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will drive integrated marketing campaigns, manage social media efforts, and measure the effectiveness of content marketing initiatives. Responsibilities

Creative and Content Creation:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy aligned with company objectives and target audience across awareness, conversion, adoption & retention stages.

  • Plan, produce, and oversee the creation of engaging content including articles, white papers, case studies, videos (short and longer-form) and more.

  • Manage the content creation process from ideation to executing, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and relevance.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, clinical and regulatory teams to ensure content meets strategic goals and adheres to brand guidelines and compliance and regulatory.

  • Demonstrated experience taking a piece of content and leveraging it across multiple channels including social media, YouTube, email, etc.

  • Plan and execute client shoots, including concept development and scheduling.

  • Write precise and creative copy for a range of on and offline marketing and brand initiatives; Perform basic proofing/editing on all copy, with strong attention to detail.

  • Be a champion for our voice/tone and contribute to the messaging strategy.

  • Work autonomously on content assignments, often with tight deadlines.

  • Translate internal requests into tactical briefs for the agency to execute against.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of content marketing efforts, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve KPIs and ROI targets.

  • Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and other vendors as necessary to scale content production and meet project deadlines.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including Instagram reels, stories, images, videos, and written posts.

  • Develop, plan, and execute a weekly social calendar across all organic social channels, including support for new launches and promotions.

  • Ensure that monthly learnings and company goals are reflected when planning the social calendar.

  • Oversee the posting schedule in partnership with the agency.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary content and approvals for all social media content.

  • Craft and edit copy for all social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn) working closely with the agency to finalize content in advance of posting date.

Project Management:

  • Proven track record in managing projects and delivering on time, on budget, and on quality.

  • Proven experience in delivering projects as a leader and/or member of a multi-functional team.

  • Ensure client and internal teams are up to date on project status.

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • 3+ years in brand marketing, social, or content marketing

  • Passion for unlocking the creative potential of copy by removing roadblocks and creating a clear path to getting things done through an obsession with planning, process, and transforming complex requests into actionable tasks.

  • Open to constructive design feedback from team members at every level - able to iterate quickly and pivot if needed.

  • Highly collaborative with experience engaging with teams cross-functionally.

  • Proactive and positive attitude.

Location

At Butterfly we offer a hybrid work environment. For most employees, this means part time in the office (two or more days a week). Our offices offer kitchens stocked with snacks and beverages, comfortable work stations, and multiple opportunities to collaborate with your colleagues to build community

This is a hybrid position and will be based out of our office in New York City, NY. Please only apply if you are local to NYC and able to commute into the office 2 to 3 days a week.

Compensation

Our estimated salary for this role is between $95,000 - $115,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.

For this role, we are only considering candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and who do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
