The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 122,496.00 USD - 160,776.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. This is an exciting and critical role in the SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands (LSB) marketing team. Reporting to the Global Brand Director - method + Ecover. This individual will lead the execution of method home care brand strategies, communication, as well as annual integrated plans to build brand awareness and drive revenue growth in our NA business. The successful candidate will do so by leading cross-functional specialist marketing teams, helping them join the dots and ensure the final output delivers on the brand and business objectives. Occasionally the candidate will also execute projects individually and / or partnering with external agencies.

This role is located in San Francisco, CA.

4 days a week in office requirement, 1 day a week remote

This role is not offering relocation

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Support the Global Brand director in developing winning brand growth and communication strategies for method home care (Cleaning, Dish, Laundry, Hand Soap).

  • Lead a cross-functional team of marketing experts to develop 360 end to end disruptive brand activations.

  • Design and execute effective launch plans to extend method into new home care categories.

  • Partner with the Innovation Director and the Creative Team to develop winning in-market product concepts.

  • NA method brand guardian: ensure the brand is built with one voice, consistently across all the touch-points.

  • Support the Global Brand director to develop and deliver effective presentations for the leadership team and / or the rest of the organization.

  • Partner with the Commercial Brand Development team to develop winning business analysis and maximize synergies between the Brand Experience and the Shopper / Omnichannel Teams.

  • Partner with the Sales Team to develop compelling sales presentations.

  • Lead the development of Global brand toolkits and act as a guide for the UK method brand lead to ensure we are building one global brand and we maximize synergies between both regions NA + EU.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 5+ years in Brand and Commercial Marketing in the consumer products industry

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field, or its equivalent MBA a plus.

Preferred:

  • Proven track record on building successful challenger and/or purpose driven brands.

  • Proven track record on delivering impactful + effective marketing campaigns, ideally PR and digital/social first.

  • Strong team player: ability to navigate different + challenging stakeholders, perspectives, priorities.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership skills: agencies, cross-functional, senior management.

  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and global business environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to think strategically and articulate long term brand strategies.

  • Ability to join the dots between strategy and execution, and lead the other functions to do the same

  • Good understanding of all levers of the marketing mix: ATL, social media, PR, shopper, omnichannel.

  • Self-started, driven and results oriented marketer.
