As an Associate Machine Operator in the Collation Department, you will be responsible for running machines and doing quality checks to help ensure our efficiency number is above 85%.

This position has a Monday-Thursday 7 am
5:30 pm, and occasional Fridays 6 am
12 pm shift.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You will run the collation machines efficiently, visually inspect the quality of the product, pack and apply labels on the finished goods. (80%)
You will troubleshoot minor machine issues to ensure production requirements are met. (bowl jams and decoil product) (10%)
You will be responsible for the necessary housekeeping for the collation machine and the immediate work area to maintain a clean and safe work area. (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
High School Diploma preferred
Previous machine operating experience preferred
Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating machine manuals and able to fill out production reports daily
Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Reading Comprehension: Ability to read, speak and comprehend English at a minimum of 12th-grade level.
Production: Regular reliable punctual attendance is essential because of limited staffing resources. Ability to complete normal tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
This job does require travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Gallatin, TN.
Relocation is not available for this position.
