Our Associates (part-time) support the leadership team through operational execution and delivery of a rewarding customer experience. Primary Duties:

  • Execution of:

  • Planograms

  • Pricing

  • Display Planner

  • Execution in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure:

  • Floor First Receiving

  • Replenishment

  • Recalibration

  • Cycle Counts

  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Duties

  • Participate in:

  • Name Collection

  • Extended Service Plan Program

  • Inside Track Club Program

  • Efficient processing of point of sale transactions

  • Act as witness for till, safe, and deposit counts

Qualifications:

  • Retail or Customer Service experience preferred

Education:

  • High School graduate/Equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate with customers and associates in person and via e-mail and telephone.

  • Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires standing and moving for an entire shift.

  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist.

  • Ability to safely climb up and down a ladder.

  • Ability to become forklift certified and physically able to operate a forklift in accordance with IIPP.

Availability:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, overnights and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the retail business.

  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

We are a business unit of Griffon Corporation (NYSE: GFF) WHO YOU ARE You are responsible to facilitate and manage the execution of all modes of import and export shipments and other related transportation activities. Interpersonal and communications skills are crucial as the role requires the facilitation of complex services and transportation needs in a matrix environment. WHERE YOU WILL WORK In our Ocala, Florida ClosetMaid Office WHAT YOU WILL DO * Communicate internally and externally regarding orders and transportation needs. * Assist in logistics support to foreign countries on physical distribution/logistics. * Learn and use various applications and web-based systems to facilitate international shipments. * Maintain close cooperation with internal stakeholders regarding necessary planning and communication * Coordinate timely dispatches with domestic and overseas vendors. * Troubleshoot logistics related issues with logistics service providers, overseas vendors, and customers. * Monitor shipments for milestone checkpoints and coordinate with distribution centers, manufacturing plants, customers, and logistics service providers to reduce demurrage and detention accrual. * Coordinate with Trade Compliance to prepare Import/Export documentation for international shipments. * Ensure transportation compliance with customer and company requirements. * Organize open order records and documentations for department and company-wide recording needs, including filings, invoices, data entries, and other shipment-related documents. Requirements: * 2-year degree / 2-3 years related work experience. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) * Ability to accurately scope out the length and difficulty of tasks and projects; break work down into process steps; anticipate and adjust for problems in order to meet internal and external deadlines. * Possess strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently or within a team environment. * Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
