Infosys Associate Lead - Global Immigration

The Associate Lead Global Immigration role is a business enablement function within the Global Immigration division. The proper candidate will focus on immigrant matters within the larger global immigration program.

Under the direction of Practice and Senior Leads, responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Act as subject matter expert on immigrant and non-immigrant visa processes/requirements in providing guidance to employees, business unit management and HR to assist in resolving key issues with regard to viability of immigrant sponsorships.

  • Manage revolving high volume case load per assigned business unit[s]. Access proprietary systems to review sponsorship nominations and apply immigration knowledge to determine eligibility before approving or rejecting the nomination. Liaise with unit representatives and GI counterparts to resolve nomination issues. Follow established procedures including data entry to utilize and maintain proprietary database, tracking, document repository and reporting systems. Provide status reports as needed by stakeholders.

  • Liaise with external attorney teams as required for case preparations. Review draft 9089s and I-140 petitions to ensure accuracy of data and adherence to strategy of internal immigrant program. Support preparation of I-485 applications as appropriate. Act as point of escalation in unresponsive or role mapping issues; In compliance with internal security/employee relations guidance, assist with document production as required for initial petitions or RFE responses.

  • Prepare forms and letters related to I-485/AC21 portability requirements as appropriate.

  • Review vendor invoices and ensure charges accurately reflect work completed. Provide case related details to finance or GI as required. Liaise with finance and employee to resolve pending loan and reimbursement issues.

  • Take part in continuing legal education/seminars/ legal research to remain abreast of all changes in immigration or related laws

The location of this opportunity will be in the Plano TX location or surrounding area.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of additional progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 2 years of work experience including experience in employment based immigrant processing. Must have direct knowledge of PERM based and EB1 level sponsorship requirements and best practices.

  • At least 1 year of experience in using the Foreign Labor Certification Permanent Online System and O*NET System.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of The Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) system and FLC Online Wage Library.

  • At least 2 years of work experience including experience in employment based immigrant processing. Must have direct knowledge of PERM based and EB1 level sponsorship requirements and best practices.

  • Experience with other government tools/resources related to immigration.

  • Proficiency in Office products: Word, Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, and conditional formatting and filtering), Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Extreme attention to detail.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.

WTS Real Estate Strategy (RES) is responsible for the planning and delivery of technology supporting real estate initiatives. This includes the Retail Branch portfolio which supports all technology for Retail Banking new builds, relocations, decommissions, reconfigurations, and audio visual installations. The Retail Tech Ops lead will focus on technical projects from initiation through implementation. This includes but is not limited to initial scope and requirements, financial planning and management, analysis, design, scheduling, project reporting, and implementation services. The Retail Tech Ops Lead will drive the delivery of all GTI-technology solutions supporting Retail Real Estate Projects in North America. They act as the lead partner with Global Real Estate (GRE) and all Lines of Business required for project delivery. The Retail Tech Ops lead will engage additional support groups within the GTI organization including Finance, Global Network Services, Client Technology Services and Global Service Operations. Project Management Responsibility: * Responsible for managing complex technology projects for Retail Branch construction and large build projects. The projects will have multiple technology deliverables, including installation of structured cabling, design and installation of data network, AV planning and implementation, and voice / telepresence services. * Responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed project plan for all technology deliverables * Creation and management of Business Case. This includes tracking project financials, resource forecasting, and asset depreciation schedules. * Coordination of technology delivery to construction completion. * Confirm the technology design and specifications are in compliance with JPMC Risk and Security standards. * Engagement and management of all technical internal and external (vendor) resources * Communicate with key stakeholders and executive sponsors. Complete written weekly status and provide detailed updates upon request. * Serves as the single point of contact for project. Responsible for issue mitigation and/or escalation to management for resolution.
