OPIS PetroChem Wire (PCW), a Dow Jones company, is a thriving provider of petrochemical market pricing and news. We provide transparency through real-time news and pricing services, and market-specific benchmark pricing reports that enable our customers to make smarter, more informed decisions.

About the Role:

In this entry level OPIS PCW Associate Journalist role, you will work with our senior editors to collect and analyze trade data to provide daily assessments for the US Recycled Plastics, and PVC and Pipe markets. You will also work on daily production tasks. You will report directly to the Associate Director.

You Will:

• Work with a team of senior editors and SMEs in a supportive role

• Write/edit news alerts and market commentary

• Have a supportive role in collection of data, trading commentary, market feedback and pricing

• Assist with compiling and publishing OPIS reports

You Have:

• Undergraduate degree; preferably in Business, Data Science, Journalism or related area of study

• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Jupyter Notebook and Python (preferred)

Pay Range: $40,000 - $160,000
