Alabama State University, Academic Affairs, College of Education, Instructional Support Programs, invites applications to fill the position of Associate IT Support Specialist. The successful applicant will provide technological assistance t the ELPL program and the College of Education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess infrastructures on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands
Manage daily operations of the ELPL program and the College of Education
Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
Coordinate the needs of in-house faculty, staff, and students and remote employees, vendors and contractors
Oversee the activities of the Doctoral Program Laboratory
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, and 1 year of IT experience with a proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity are required. Industry certification and memberships are a plus.
