KPMG is currently seeking an Associate in CIO Advisory for our Management Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with client peers to understand their IT and business environment, challenges and strengths

  • Understand current technology, such as major ERP platforms, cloud computing, and shared services, and advise clients on leading practices

  • Work as part of a team to define target state IT processes based on industry frameworks such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library

  • Work as part of a team to implement solutions in an Agile-SCRUM framework by writing epics and user stories

  • Support the preparation of findings to guide client leadership decisions

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience with techniques such as assessing and planning IT capabilities, IT cost and performance management, IT solutions architecture, portfolio, program and project management and transformational change

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience and one year of experience in a business analyst, IT operations, systems administration or similar role

  • Understanding and experience with IT management, enterprise strategy, IT supply chain, and information management

  • Experience in IT process improvement within your own organization or as an external consultant

  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle

  • Strong business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills

  • Travel may be up to 80%

This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations. Responsibilities: * Act as an IT Service Management Process SME accountable for the development, implementation and management of Industry Standard ITIL Based Processes & Policies as determined by the overall ITSM Roadmap for the firm's IT organization * Lead and drive all Continual Service Improvement enhancements to assigned ITSM processes and ServiceNow implementation in accordance to Industry "Good Practice" * Participate in the organizational change management plan supporting the adoption of assigned ITSM processes and tools working with People Management and other departments in the promotion of standardized processes across the firm's IT organization * Work with Vendor Management and Performance Management teams in the development and operationalization of KPIs and SLAs * Assist with the Governance, Risk & Compliance department on the development and operationalization of associated ITSM Policies and Controls * Manage and drive the development and configuration of the ServiceNow platform in support of assigned ITSM Process areas, ensuring data quality and consistency across all internal IT operational teams Qualifications: * Minimum five years of experience in information systems with Leadership and relationship management * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience * Experience in ServiceNow Implementation, Administration and/or Management * Demonstrated advanced technical skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with changing priorities, in a cross-functional environment * Working knowledge of Microsoft core technologies such as Active Directory, Office Suite, MS SQL and Windows Desktop * US Citizenship is required KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
