The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing global customer base.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead follow up for transactional sales and data input for processing
Conduct cold outbound reach outs (via email / calls) and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL's value proposition to new global users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
Ensure the timely processing of leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
As needed, support international ESCs with discovery calls with customers and identifying customer pain points and demonstration IXL's value
Identify growth opportunities for the sales teams to ensure growth attainment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BA/BS degree
1 year of customer service, inside sales or education experience, preferably within the ed-tech or software industry
A high level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to succeed
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills
Understanding of web applications
Ability to accommodate various global time zones is a plus
Salesforce.com experience is a plus
